MICHIGAN BAPTIST WOMEN GOING "BOTH FEET IN"

BAMBI LAKE CONFERENCE CENTER, ROSCOMMON — Michigan Baptist Women are being invited to go “Both Feet In” with Bible Study Leader Dr. Tony Lynn, BSCM State Director of Missions. Dr. Lynn says he will be teaching women how to plant both feet firmly in the Word, and challenge them to live everyday walking more deeply with Christ so they might touch more lives for Jesus. Inspirational worship will be led by “Legacy and Friends,” Retreat planners hope the weekend will provide fellowship of women from different churches going “Both Feet In!” In addition, newly retired IMB Missionary, Sharon Hessling will be the Missions Study Leader. Hessling will offer personal accounts of living with “Both Feet In” for the cause of Christ. She says she hopes her stories will encourage Michigan women to go on mission for God. Saturday evening will include an overseas mission trip experience. Participants will go on

a vicarious mission trip to Africa, complete with the opportunity to interact with missionaries, experience the culture, taste the cuisine, have their passport stamped, and just maybe be intimidated by customs officers.
Check-in registration begins at 3pm on Friday with a evening dinner. The retreat ends on Sunday at 11:00am with Brunch.
Retreat sponsors remind participants that it will be colder so pack accordingly, and dress in layers. Jeans and sweatshirts are the preferred dress code with extra credit for pink camouflage.
Retreat programming includes 12 different breakout sessions featuring a variety of topics designed to challenge women to take their ministry to the next level.
In addition to the retreat sessions, free time will allow women to enjoy the Northern Michigan outdoors, go shopping in town, participate in service mission projects and many other activities.
Shopping opportunities include; “More Beautiful Than Diamonds Boutique”, “LifeWay Christian Bookstore”, “Worldcrafts”, and Bambi’s “JB’s Place.”
