BSCM CALLS NEW CHURCH PLANTER CATALYST
Tony Lynn - State Director of Missions
FENTON, MI – Jason Robinson has been called as the Church Planting Catalyst (CPC) for Central, Lendale, Huron, and Southeastern associations. Robinson began in his joint position of the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and Baptist State Convention of Michigan (BSCM) on March 1st. He will continue to serve as the pastor of Reach Church in Ypsilanti.
Dr. Tony Lynn, the State Director of Missions says, "We believe Pastor Robinson will bring highly refined skills to his new role. For years, he recruited students for universities. Now, Jason will bring that skill set to the Kingdom of God." Lynn added, "Visit his young congregation and you will discover a pastor who knows how to create campus ministries while building a dynamic, local church."
As a Church Planting Catalyst, Robinson will become an advocate for the lost in his assigned areas. He will identify priority places and people groups where new churches are needed, and he will guide those called by God through the church planting process. Robinson will also partner with existing churches, mobilizing them for evangelism and church starting.
Contributions given through the Cooperative Program (CP) of Southern Baptist churches make it possible for NAMB and BSCM to invite Pastor Robinson and his wife Ebony to join the important mission or starting, strengthening, and sending churches.
